Can someone please explain to me why my signal is so bad in this location that when I turn my phone off and back on (or airplane mode on and off) I retrieve signal for approximately 5-10 minutes. After this it drops out again.
I have a new sim/ I have a new phone.

EE signal is amazing in this location but all I get is a G which is useless for most tasks.

It's not showing any problems on the status page

Try downloading the My Network app and reporting the problem there. You should get an update if there is a specific issue.

2g is about the best you can reliably get from O2.
