Hi

It's called a PAC CODE.

More here http://community.o2.co.uk/t5/Discussions-Feedback/Obtaining-a-PAC-Code-from-the-O2-Network/m-p/54427...

Be sure to use up any credit on your account.

Plus you can unlock your phone to all networks for £15 via https://www.o2.co.uk/apps/help/help?qid=1&q1=2&route=unlocking&case=Handset%20Unlocking%20Form Please check any other networks via their own Payg SIM cards too.

How bad could it be to jump ship after 14 years of not having any problems?
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
