Seriously sick of O2 promotional phone calls or scams

Yesterday, I got a phone call from O2, the guy said that it was regarding the 30% discount off of my monthly bill for being a loyal customer. Usually I just don't want any of these because I am so sick of O2 promotional calls, the guy was insisting and said he will call back when I'm not busy. Called me 3 times, the first 2 times I didn't answer, the third time, he got me. He had too much of my account information. My email address, his texts with the confirmation code were from the same O2 text phone number. And he was also able to change my password. So for a moment, I thought this might be real O2, continued talking, then he said I will also get a free apple watch. Started to smell a little bit, then he asked that I needed to pay 3 pounds to receive this watch. Then asked which was my bank, so here is where I stopped him from talking and hung up.

This is the first time I actually continued talking on the phone with someone who claims to be from O2. Some of these calls that I received before might be real promotional calls, but I don't know what the hell O2 does with our information, but getting these scam calls and wasting my time is seriously upsetting.

Never give any information to a cold caller, no matter who they say they are or what information they may have about you. Some are so called O2 'trusted partners' but they're slimebags as well. You can change your preferences in your My O2 to not get these kinds of calls.
Block the number and report it free to 7726.
Don’t open any links or enter any information.
