Sending my upgraded phone abroad

Hi,

Would it be possible when upgrading my phone to have it delivered to Australia?

Will I also be able to use an Australian Sim in the phone while I am out there this is in regards to the iPhone 13

O2 will only deliver to your UK registered address

You would need a friend or family member to send it on for you

@Reece7 O2 will only send the phone to the registered address on the account. They will not send it to Australia. You'd need to get a family member or friend to send it to you. I'd insure it heavily if you're planning to do that. The phone will be unlocked, so you could use an Australian sim, but we've been seeing posts of people receiving iPhones that are sent with temporary bars on them that then have to be removed by customer service, so you'd be taking a risk.

Just be aware if someone does ship it over to Australia you will be liable to customs and import duty, which will be up to 300AUD, and if the person mis declares it on the paperwork as a gift etc, you will get a bigger penalty payment. 

Also make sure who ever sends it sends insured through DHL or FedEx and insures it to more than its retail value
