Hi,
I have a Samsung S21 on O2 on a pay monthly contract. Since the dawn of time, I've been able to send messages to premium numbers (it's only to enter the odd competition - nothing dodgy). In the last week or so, when I've been trying to send a message to the same premium number I have before, I've been receiving an error message saying 'Can't send message with O2 - error 0'.
I have no idea what's wrong. There is no cap or block on my account to prevent my sending messages to this number. The number is 61025. I can receive messages from this number and can send and receive normal text messages. I confirmed that there is nothing on my account preventing premium messages (or messages to 5-digit numbers) being sent. I've cleared my message cache, restarted my phone a number of times and have used a different messaging app and the same thing appears.
I've checked that I've got the right SMSC number in my settings.
Please help!
Thanks!

If you message O2 on Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG) , they should be able to help you with this.
Thanks.

I have the same issue, and I have contacted o2 and they are unable to help. There are no spend caps or other limits on my account. I have checked all the relevant settings on my phone and no use. They even sent me a new sim and that didn't work. Any advice?

Has the short code you are trying to use been changed? Many of the BBC radio channels now have WhatsApp numbers in place of the older 5-digit codes, eg BBC R2:
