Photos are always sent and received as media messages.

Or do you mean as emails?

Hi- thanks-I mean that I have to go online and download them rather than them showing in the actual text message...

Do you have mobile data switched on?

Try going into messages and then selct settings.

Make sure auto-retrieve is ticked.

Thanks, sorry for delay in replying. Have tried all that- no joy. I may go into an o2 shop and get them to look at the settings. First time I've had a smart phone so a bit unsure and had no problems sending or receiving pictures before on phones. Have sent as emails until I get this sorted. will keep trying. Thanks for your advice.

I'd stick to emails. No file size restriction (within reason) and much cheaper too wink
