Received a text from a UK number claiming to be 02 saying my bill couldn’t be processed by my bank, I’ve assumed it is a scam and haven’t entered any details but just wanted to check, when receiving a text from 02 the contact will always appear as 02 rather than the mobile phone number? The number was +44 7493 356731

It's a scam, @MK1 - forward the txt to 7726 to report it, then block, delete and forget.

Block the number and report it free to 7726.
Don’t open any links or enter any information.
