I received the following text message, is it a scam?

O2: Payment for your latest bill could not be processed by your bank. Please update your payment information via;  <Link Removed>

It looks weird and have checked both my bank and My O2, both confirm payment made and received.

Usually my messages from O2 show as from O2 UK, this one is from 07385 722881.

Your thoughts please.

  1. Hello @Jimsimms

A scam. Well done for reporting it to the o2 community forum.   Never just accept a strange text message and never instantly respond. Always check your own records first.

Best wishes TallTrees
