Had a text which I now realise is a scam. Foolishly put in name, address and phone number but stopped at the bank details stage. Do I now need to change my phone number/sim card?

As long as you didn't add bank details you should be fine. You may want to change relevant passwords @azumi
As for the text
Block the number and do not follow any links.
Forward the scam text to 7726 - It's free.

@azumi To add to the advice given to you by @Cleoriff, as the scammers now have your phone number, it might not be a bad idea to get it changed, if it isn't going to cause you a great inconvenience. O2 will allow one free number change. Read this guide before you proceed: https://community.o2.co.uk/t5/How-to-Guides/How-to-change-your-mobile-number/ba-p/1243868
As the scammers also have your name and address, it probably wouldn't be a bad idea to alert your bank, even though you never entered those details.
