Hi, I have just received a call from O2 offering 20% discount on my bills. He had an Indian accent and it sounded very foreign in the background although the number on my screen was 01416287103. I decided to push for a bit more information like his name and location. He said his name was Mark Smith calling from O2. When pushed again for his real name and location he replied with " OK - ****** off - goodbye" and put the phone down. If he is genuine then his phone manners need a good 'seeing to' but I assume that it isn't. Perhaps the above information will help to track scammers trying to get bank details. Please reply to this message or I will assume you are a robot or AI and send this message to Watchdog aswell. Kind regards

@Nickc186 Sadly your experience with this scammer is not unique. It happens to thousands of people on a daily basis, and it happens on every network worldwide. No network anywhere has found a way to control it. The best anyone can do is be vigilant and not fall into the traps the scammers lay.
