Received a call from +44 161 524 7867 , Indian sounding accent, saying from O2, asking for amount of my last Bill, to offer discount. I thought O2 should know the amount of my last bill and hung up. The caller rang straight back, I didn't pick up. The number appears to be Manchester. I might be reaching the end of my contract. How do I know about new offers?

@dw5 Never agree to anything from a cold call, no matter who they say they are. This doesn't just apply to O2. It's across the board for any cold call. Whatever accent you think they may or may not have shouldn't be of any relevance. People from all nationalities live and work in the UK in all industries.
