It should work on first come first served BUT it depends on the model, the GB required and sometimes the colour.
Really it's a hit and miss system. O2 don't always have the stock to meet demand.

At least you have had some communication from them by SMS, I preordered my S10 plus during the live event and have heard nothing at all. I keep hearing different dates! The O2 shop says click and collect available from stores on 8th March, O2 twitter says deliveries from 8th March too. Its looking highly unlikely that the phones will dispatch this week
