SMSs to Russia not being received?

I've tried messaging a friend in Russia in preparation for going over there in a couple of weeks but none of them are being received? She has messaged me on the same number and I can receive messages from her. Any thoughts as to what's going on?

The only way is for both of them to contact their relevant network and ask them to investigate.

Slight update, it's not an iPhone, it's Huawei of some sort so no iPhones involved. I'll get someone else to send a text and also get a number from another Russian friend and try sending to them

It appears to be my friend's phone or network. I sent a message to another friend in Russia successfully

Getting closer to resolution

At least you know now. It had to be a problem between O2 and the Russian network.

Curioser and curioser.

Sending on the same phone from 3 to my friend works fine. Sending from O2 to another friend in Russia works fine both ways.
