SMS sending whilst abroad

Hello

I am on an old tariff (Online Simplicity 20) where when I am abroad and send an SMS it takes 4 texts out my allowance.  I have been in Ireland and Spain over the last few months and this occured all the time so if I had 100 texts to send, I could send 25 when abroad.

Can someone advise if this is applicable when in the Middle East also where 4 texts will be taken out my allowance?

Yes it is. I.m in Thailand and texts come out of my allowance at 4:1 ratio. I've been coming here for the last few years and the texts always come from my allowance even on stopovers in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
