SMS relay times

Hi, can anyone tell me how long SMS are attempted delivery on O2 before it gets returned undelivered to the sender?  I have to swap sims when I go abroad and I need to know how long I can use another sim before I lose my O2 messages.  Thanks v much!

Hi,

It can depend on how the sender has set their text settings up in some phones.

ie: senders phone keeps trying over a set period of time.

02 I believe keep trying to sending a text generally for 7 days.

Tugo is an option where the texts can be sent to it on a running computer.

Or place your 02 sim in a spare handset and leave it on.
