SIMS only upgrade

Anonymous
Not applicable

I can upgrade my contract with 02 in March 28th. I'm very happy with my phone so I just want to upgrade my Sims card - I'll end up paying much less monthly, which is a big plus. If I buy the Sims card online now and I contact O2, how long will it take for me to stop paying the old tariff and start paying the new one? Thank you for your help.

Your best option is to call customer service and they will arrange the change over for you and give you a date.

I looked at doing something similar, but to keep 4G the cheapest SIM only deal was only £1 cheaper than I've been paying to buy the phone ... not what I'd call a bargain. Shocked

Everyone has their own needs & ideas so really if you want to not pay an extra £1 it's up to you but also take into account the amount of minutes,,text & data you want & see what's best for you or just stay on what you have already

DO NOT buy another sim deal online as you will end up with 2 contracts - call CS on 202 to upgrade your current contract.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
