I tried to order a sim only for my wife’s phone yesterday which I thought I had done, but then I got an email saying your new sim is on the way and your Tariff has been changed which was not the plan?
I am now on a lower tariff now which I guess I can just change for my phone again but will I be able to use the sim on the way for my wife’s phone which at the moment is pay as u go?
if not what do I need to do as I cannot get to speak to anyone on live chat?

Hi @Simmo
Apologies... just noticed your wife has a PAYG phone and they are different sims
You will have to call O2 for a new one.

As I said, the problem is your wife is on PAYG and has a PAYG sim in her phone and they are a different set up to Contract. If you put it in her phone and if it works, your wife would be on a contract not PAYG
However, as O2 haven't authorised a contract for her, it probably wouldn't work.
PS, I know they say to call if it's urgent. This is urgent to you.
Use any numbers in the link I gave and press any option to get through.

You just need to order a free SIM from here https://www.o2.co.uk/shop/sim-cards/pay-as-you-go

Yes, but this can be changed again after 30 days back to the original tariff or one of the new ones with free Disney.
