SIM UPGRADE TO 5G

I was recently called by 073080 353863 regarding a free upgrade from 4G to 5G sim.

They asked for my email address (which is odd as O2 have had my address for years) and said i needed to open the email and verify the link while he was on the phone. He also if if i remembered my User Name and Password. I am guessing this is a scam to get into my account.

If someone could please acknowledge this and also hopefully this will assist others to avoid it....

Thank you,

Steve.

It's a well known scam.

Forward the scam number to 7726 - It's free.

Change your O2 password too and any others that use the same details.

Notify your bank if you haven't done so already.
