Hello,

My phone has been working fine for nearly 2 years yet this morning I looked at my phone and it has 'emergancy calls only'.

It is also stating 'SIM 1 not provisioned'. I have had this number and contract for nearly 2 years with no problems, whys has this suddenly happned? I have restarted the phone, taken the SIM out to wipe it down and still getting the same issues.

What can be done to fix this?

Thank you

Have you tried the sim in another phone?
Or another sim in that position?
If the sim works elsewhere, and another sim doesn't it's a phone fault.
If the sim doesn't work elsewhere and another sim does work, the sim is faulty.
Once you know that you know what you need to do next @CCrouz.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Thank you for replying but I'm not quite sure where to get the correct information from that post.

Are you telling me ways to get in touch with O2? Outside of an internet  browser on my computer, I would struggle to get in touch with them. I cannot Log on to my O2 app as I am currently at work which would make phone calls difficult too. This is my work phone and I need to get it sorted ASAP.

Can you give any recomendations over what to do next?

Thanks

Thank you for the reply.

I tried it in a different phone, still doesn't work. I tried it in SIM 2, still same message. Does this mean the SIM itself is faulty? I don't understand how that has happened since nothing has changed recently.

Can you give any advice on how to fix it?

Thanks you

Yes SIM is faulty or disconnected.
Either way, you need to speak to O2 https://community.o2.co.uk/t5/Other-Products-and-Services/Coronavirus-Covid-19-Community-Help-and-Su...

Thank you. It seems I am going to have to wait until I am back from work before I can do it as I have no other phone and My O2 is blocked by my work's internet WiFi
