S23 Ultra Preorder

Hi All,

   Just curious, the S23 Ultra has a preorder date for collection of 17th Feb... however, Samsung Direct and ID Mobile seem to be guaranteeing delivery on 14th Feb... just wondering if ID have any exclusive agreement with Samsung (doubt it as they are a fairly small operator).

 this is what mine currently shows but according to the agents on live chat it's not guaranteed even though I pre ordered within 15 minutes

O2 aren't holding back. @Leahno1auntie  Go buy it from Argos if they can get it to you earlier. 

Samsung can do what they want and release it to their direct customers before everyone else as that is their prerogative. 

ID Mobile is intertwined by its Parent Company who run (or did) run the Samsung Experience centres across Europe, so they have done a deal, or offered Samsung a sweetener to have it early. 

If I had spoken to my Samsung Enterprise Account manager, and really cared, I could have had one last week, before any consumers got their hands on it.. 

The Launch day is the 17th Feb, for all customers still, its just Samsung have given an incentive to people buying direct or through one of its Strategic Partners (aka where it can make more money).

Ive never had a preorder thats NOT arrived on Launch day... Live Chat can never guarantee and never will as there is other things other than O2 despatch that can affect the phone arriving such as couriers etc. If they guaranteed and then the courier didnt deliver in time, you would blame O2 when it technically isnt their fault.

Urgh, talk about itching to get this phone... o2 just text me to say its in store and to pop in on 17th to get it... but that's TWO DAYS AWAY!!! I have no patience lol

I wouldn't get too excited, people already complaining about the screens, Android Auto broken for users... 

I hope for all those waiting it isnt as much as a lemon as some are making out...

I got the same SMS yesterday! 

I doubt they'll let anyone have it early even if other retailers are letting theirs go early.

On the upside I ordered the leather case and screen protector via Amazon which was delivered yesterday. The are on sale at the moment so I made quite a good saving! Got the green leather one to go with the green phone,
