Do I need to contact O2 to activate roaming before I go abroad? Or is it automatically switched on?

@JaneyEllen It should be automatic although we do know of some people who have arrived abroad and had no service, so it's always advisable to call and check before leaving home.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

Always best to check before you go rather than the stress of getting it sorted after you travel.
