3 months into an O2 contract and O2 wants to increase my monthly charge of £35.00 per month by an extra £11.00 per year! Thieves!

We get the same complaints every year because people don't listen to what they are told or read the T&C's - it's the same on every network too btw.

I thought the increase was 2.6% which should increase your bill by 0.91p. Or am I wrong?

2.6% of what monthly airtime you pay is the increase

No, you are correct - Actually £10.80 a year on a £35 pm bill, except if it's a refresh tarrif where the increase only applies to the airtime portion, not the device plan.
