Returning pay and go phone just over 28 days

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hiya all,

Just wondered if it is possible at all?

I purcahsed a pay as you go phone from anO2 shop in Brighton on June 6th and would like to return it

It keeps completely dropping signal - both network and internet - meaning it has become pointless to me as I cannot be got hold of when needed

I would have returned it sooner but have had a death in the family so has not been a priority

If I take it back to store tomorrow would I be able to get a refund on it? - I have all packaging and proof of purcahse etc

Many thanks

It will be at the discretion of the store manager, but usually, outside of 28 days, it would have to be sent off for repair.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

If they won't take it back I would go with having the manufacturer look at it to run a diagnostic and not O2 repairs.

When you go back to the O2 shop drop a few buzz words such as

Duty of care.
Sales of goods act.

Keep calm and courteous and ask to speak to the manager.

Also before you start ask if any more of the phones are in stock so you cannot be put off by being told their are none in the stock room.

Let us know how you get on.
