Returning Handset (from store)

Hey guys,

 

Upgraded in an O2 Store last week. If I want to return the phone and revert back to my previous plan, do I have to return it to the same O2 store or can I take it back to any O2 store? 

 

I went in and did the upgrade directly (i.e didnt order online and collect in store)

 

Reason I ask is I live around 50 miles from the store I bought it from (was visiting the town) and there's a local one about 5 mins away from where I live!

I’d call your local store and explain your reasoning and see if they will accept on behalf of the other store.

Sorry to tell you, you have to return the phone to the store from which you purchased it. They have to scan it back into their system.

Sorry for such a late update but I thought it may be useful for someone else in future:

I went in person to my local store to explain the situation and the guy was super helpful: ‘no problem’ he said, ‘just bring it back and we’ll return it’.

Went back in the next day, that guy wasn’t working and I was worried I’d be met with ‘computer says no’- but I was wrong...

They returned it with no questions asked in 5 mins. Very happy with the service
