Retrieve data from a Galaxy S6 that has become unresponsive

Anyone know how I could retrieve my photos and messages etc from the S6 before sending it away to be repaired/replaced? The screen has died after a long period of epileptic fits. And with this model it seems you cannot remove the battery

@Dawnthehat You could use smartswitch to do it. Maybe our Samsung experts @MI5 @viridis @jonsie will be of more assistance

Help guide here but you’ll need to unlock your phone to back it up which you may be able to do through Android Manager

I used Smartswitch to do mine. My husband who was selling his on, transferred all photos onto his PC using  a USB cable....
