Restricted services due to high cost call

On Tuesday I made a call that cost me £150 (it was an accident). O2 emailed me to say my account had been suspended because I needed to pay that amount and that it could take 4-24 hours for the restrictions on my account to be lifted. It’s now been 36 hours and no change... everytime I ring o2 helpline the automated voice says ‘there are restrictions on your account due to an outstanding balance. The outstanding balance is zero pounds..’ Clearly the payment has gone through but my account is still locked down. This is unbelievably frustrating because I urgently need my phone for work purposes.

You need to call O2. They are open at 8am. Borrow a phone, use a landline to contact them. You could also use Skype if you have it.

Use any of the numerous phone numbers in this guide and press ANY option (even fraud)
