Solved: Regarding Upgrading

Checking my account overview it says my renewal date is March 1st 2013. But it says I'm eligible for an upgrade right now?

If I upgraded now, would my current phone be disconnected?

Am I even eligible for an upgrade?

when you upgrade o2 do not disconnect you as you keep the same number and sim card(unless handset requires a different size sim)

The old handset is then yours to do what you want with sell it etc, but you will not have 2 numbers and 2 handsets to use untill the old end date.
