Why is it showing on the o2 shop that a galaxy s4 black refurb phone is available if you look as a new customer but not if you look as an existing customer upgrading?

Not sure. It's showing as in stock for white but no stock for black refurbs for me to upgrade. Probably best to call to see if you can get the black refurb.

I would imagine it is due to stock allowances for each type of customer.

By no means quote me on this but depeding on changing priorities and the phone market new connections > upgrade connections.
