Hi,

I received a text a few months ago saying that I'd used almost all my data, so I had to buy a bolt on of 1GB for £10... now it turns out I was nowhere near my data limit.

How could this have happened?

@Stellabea4

If you have a bolt on for extra data you will get the automated warning when your base tariff is low.

You bolt on will automatically kick in when the base data is used.

You can always check how much data you have remaining in your MyO2 http://www.o2.co.uk/myo2

Hi,

No, my point is that O2 wrongly told me that I needed extra data, which is why I bought the bolt-on.  I believed the text... but I spoke to someone today who said I've never even remotely reached my data limit!

I understand that @Stellabea4

But you could have checked yourself in your MyO2 first.
