Can anyone tell me what's happening re the Note 7 Recall by Samsung? I received my Samsung Note 7 on a pre-order. There doesn't seem to be anything on the O2 website giving information about the recall.

Offical news from samsung about UK phones:
"For UK customers who have Galaxy Note7 devices, Samsung in collaboration with its partners and operators, will voluntarily replace their current device with a new one.
"UK customers who have Galaxy Note7 devices will be contacted by the provider or operator from which they purchased the product in order to arrange their device exchange. The exchange of units will begin from 19 September 2016."
I am still wondering when o2 are going to contact me about it though as they haven't a txt, email or called me yet! Samsung are not much better having opened up a support call for more info on monday I haven't had a single piece of communication from them either. Makes me wonder where I would stand legally right now if my phone did go bang as you'd have thought that there was a duty of care from o2 to actually contact people who got the pre-orders!

I think the Samsung statement is fairly clear.
