Re found phone - sim card

I recently lost my phone and ordered a new sim. Does this mean that my original sim has been de activated? If so is there a way to re activate the sim because I just found my phone with the orginal sim today?

If reported to o2 yes if you have the same number if you ordered a new payg sim then if you did not report the old sim as lost and still within the payg sim rules it may be ok but contract the sim will be dead.

If it's still working just carry on using it as it obviously wasn't cancelled.
If it subsequently does go offline just call customer services and they will activate the new sim they sent out to you.
