Query on 4g sim and keeping number

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hi

My 2 year contract is ending in next few days. I have 3 queries as below:

- If I get a PAC then can I leave my current contract anytime after contract end date or is there an notice period so that I call customer service and close the account?

- If I go for a 4G sim after upgrading/moving will it still work on my galaxy s3 3g phone?

- If I get another good deal on O2 itself but through a 3rd party site can I still keep my number?

Thanks

1 You have to give 30 days notice or pay for 30 days if you use PAC sooner.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

On point 2 are you asking if 4G will work on the S3 or whether a 4G sim will work on 3G?

Hi - sorry was not clear earlier, I wanted to ask if 4G sim will work on 3G or not. I am sure 4G internet won't work but at least it will continue to give what I have now

Awesome, thanks. I looked at the link you provided but it doesn't talk about pay monthly to another pay monthly hence I had this confusion. Anyway I will speak to them before buying just to make sure there is no confusion later
