Hi,

I lost my job back in December and would like to out my account on hold until I find a new job as I am unable to keep up with the payments due to the cost of living crisis.

I don't see why I am still being charged for month i have not used my tariff for? I would like these charges to be whipped off as I have not used these charges

We are a community of customers here so can't access accounts

You really will have to talk to the Payment Management Team

You can reach the Payment Management team on 0800 902 0217.

The opening times are:
Monday to Friday – 8am to 8pm
Saturday – 8am to 6pm
Sunday – 9am to 6pm

If you have not got access to a phone download Skype and call the number free

Guide: A Guide to Skype

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.

@Hannah221

You get charged whether you use your phone or not, so o2 will not remove those charges, as per your T&C's.

If o2 put your account on hold, you will lose access to make and receive calls and Texts and also they may bar your phone, and your credit file will be affected, and you may incur other charges.

I would speak to a debt support charity if you are in financial difficulties as they will be able to advice.  Google Stepchange or the Money Advice Service.

As Others have said you need to speak to the Payment Management Team asap.

- Xperia 1V - o2 and Spusu
- Pixel 8 Pro - o2 and Vodafone UK
