Problem tRansferring pay and go number to sim only contract

Anonymous
Not applicable

Can anybody help with this?

I started a new pay monthly contract thinking that it would be easy to transfer my pay and go number across to the new contract (both on O2).  Four weeks later still no number transfer.  I've tried filling in the form, used on line chat, even gone into the O2 shop and got them to put me through to customer service.  Each time I get a promise that it's sorted and the number will transfer in 24 hours, but each time nothing happens.  Very fed up - does anyone know how to get customer service to escalate this?

Any suggestions much appreciated.

All I can suggest is that you make a complaint - you've done everything else already http://www.o2.co.uk/how-to-complain

No, it needs the account adjusting too by CS.

Thanks for the replies - looks like it's the complaints process then.

As a side note, my wife asked at the O2 shop near her work, and they said they could do it, but because the phones were in my name, I'd have to be there.  When I finally did go to a store it turned out they couldn't do it and they just put me through to CS.

Thanks,

Maybe they just thought it was a simple sim swap which any O2 store can do.
