Yes, you can use your contract O2 phone in Spain without any change, as you would at home, just make sure sure you have the Roaming Data switch in settings on the phone enabled, @lloydymartin - info here: Guide: Roaming MegaGuide

If you have an iPhone, you may need to check how your APN is set, especially if O2 have not enabled iData on it on the O2 side.

We have these two guides for iphone and Android phones

https://community.o2.co.uk/t5/Apple/Connecting-iPhone-to-Data-Services/m-p/544210#U544210

https://community.o2.co.uk/t5/Android/Connecting-Android-Phone-to-Data-Services/m-p/544202#U544202

They cover both contract and PAYG

If you have trouble latching onto a network when you land, after switching off airplane mode or rebooting, then you may need to step down to 4G or 3G from 5G (if your phone is 5G capable and it is enabled on O2 side) and manually search for a local network.  Note also the airport can be busy, so you may not get a good signal until you are away from the main terminals.

Enjoy the holiday!

@lloydymartin

You are limited to 25gb of data per billing period before extra charges for data use.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)
