It's appeared on my bill extra charge for premium and information services and I have no idea what it could be?

It does sound as if you have been caught up in a premium rate 'scam'.

You can also contact customer services https://www.o2.co.uk/contactus and ask them to apply the following two bars to your account

Bar all Direct to Bill Debits
Premium Bar (calls to premium numbers, 090, 070 etc.)

Veritas Numquam Perit

O2

Premium and information services

Cancelling subscrption

Not renewing my contract

3G switch off

no service after porting number

Phone Upgrade
