Still waiting on my old number to port onto my iPhone 12 o2 esim. Been 36 hrs now, followed all instructions regards phone off etc.. I still haven’t received the 2 nd text but the o2 ansaphone answers the number to be ported now, so something is happening.
Have I missed anything?
Worst port in 20 odd years !
Any suggestions?

No suggestions except "Hang in there", @Portless - or if you feel like chasing it up, the links to o2's Social Media Team are shared below. I think the O2 and VM merger has really impacted a number of areas, porting being the most impactful one. Fingers crossed your port completes today - keep rebooting every so often!

There have been quite a few eSim failures during porting so if nothing happens this morning you may need to contact O2 for a new eSim.
You can have a pack sent to you or go in store to pick one up.
