Porting from virgin - slow process & not there yet

Swapped from virgin to O2 last wednesday, keeping my old number (hopefully) to avoid having to update everything.

The virgin sim didn't deactivate until yesterday morning, looking at the forum comments my number should have been ported by now, but also looking at the forum comments, that's often wishful thinking.

I've restarted the phone, turned it off for 30+ minutes then rebooted, and left it off overnight.
Still no progress.

Is this normal for O2 or do I need to contact someone?
