I’ve been waiting since October 11th for my number to get ported.
Initially when I asked if I could swap the sim for the eSIM, someone in the customer care cancelled the port and immediately swapped to the eSIM (I wasn’t asking that, the priority for me was the porting) and rescheduled the port for the following day.
Since then, for a reason or another, I get bounced with “I’ve taken care of it for you, tomorrow the number will be ported” but after the fourth time it is not anymore assistance, it is a joke.
I wanted to leave within the 14 day cooling off period but can’t cancel now since my number is hostage of O2.
Today is another day where I’m supposed to wait till 6pm, but I’m already let down

You have to persevere with O2 I'm afraid

When you call, you will be asked for the reason you are calling,
Stay silent for 15 seconds and you will be taken to the keypad options.

Press 7 for Anything Else which will put you though to an advisor.
Press Upgrade, Lost/Stolen or Fraud if you have to.

Called 202, it took them more than one day to fix the problem and port the number. Really appreciated the person who assisted me, that called me back at the end of the first day to tell me he’d he didn’t had reply from the team that handle this kind of issues, but he’d have checked the next day. The next day he called me back, when the number was just been ported.
Now all is ok but the experience is appalling
