Poor reception

Why wont O2 offer customers signal boost boxes? Everybody in our road suffers with poor/no mobile reception and we would all love one of the network providers to upgrade their mast so that we could enjoy full use of our phones but, at the very lesast, O2 could let its customers have the signal boost boxes that are currently only available to their business customers. Why can't we have something that O2 has, that would help to solve the very problem that we have???? I really don't understand.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

They are offering them at the moment but it seems it depends on who you get through to as to whether any particular customer is offered one.

I am still of the opinion that soon all customers will be eligible for a box but for an upfront payment with an additional monthly fee.

We've had no luck persuading customer services to provide a signal boost box. We are going to be forced to leave O2 soon if the boxes aren't made available. The thought of the hassle involved in making the change to Vodafone is putting us off at the moment.

If O2 is monitoring these posts, please let us know if there are plans to either reinstate wifi texting, or provide customers with a usable mobile signal (via increased power from the mast or a signal booster) There are so many residents struggling to connect in this village that an improved O2 signal would gain O2 lots of extra customers.
