I am an o2 UK customer for numerous years. I have an Ireland bolt on. I am perplexed as to why, Vodafone UK can accommodate a top up package were your free minutes an texts allow you to call or text southern Irish numbers within their Uk package but o2 doesn't. I wish o2 would appreciate the money an cost of their Northern Ireland customers and do a little more regarding our need to talk and text to people in the same country, like Vodafone Uk has. Please can you tell me if there will ever be a 'nice accommodating package' like Vodafone. I am holding out for this as I have, like I have said before a customer for numerous years....Or does Vodafone have me.........

You would think O2 would have had something like this in place but they seem quite happy to pocket the revenue from 'roaming' charges. I guess there needs to be an agreement in place between O2, NI and Eire but to be honest I don't see it happening anytime soon. Good on Vodafone though for understanding customer needs.
