Hello people, 

 

Can someone from O2 confirm if the Pixel Fold orders that where made quoting delivery date 27th June are still being fulfilled? 

 

Appears Google have underestimated the Pixel Fold's sales orders.  O2 and other providers have stopped taking orders and are quoting 22nd August for launch, however this appears to be the next batch date rather than an official launch date as that is the 27th June. I haven't had any email from O2 to advise any different and my order is still active.

@Scuffers This is not O2. This is a customer community. You need to speak to customer service.
Call 202 from your mobile or 0344 809 0202, 0800 902 0217 or 0800 032 1402 
When it comes to the reason you are calling, stay silent for 15 seconds and you will be taken to the keypad options.
Press 2 for Everything Else
Press 5 for More Options
Press 7 for Anything Else which will put you though to someone.
Say 'Upgrade', 'Lost/Stolen', or 'Fraud' if the suggestion above doesn't get you through.
Best time to call is 8 am.

Looks like Google are pushing all delivery dates back to August in the EU and back to mid Early to Mid July for the US. 


Your order will still be active, but will be at the mercy of Google and they have limited inventory, and that will be going to Google's Direct Customers, rather than network customers...

And o2 and all other UK retailers will be in the dark till then...

I just called O2 customer service as I was also supposed to be getting the Pixel Fold tomorrow (27th June) as I'd pre-ordered on 30th May too. Was hoping that because I ordered in the first batch before cut off that it would come at this time.

 

However, the woman I spoke to said that while my order is currently in dispatch stage, the device will be available from 22nd August. Real pity and pretty annoying because there's been no clear explanation put out there, unless you call them up.

 

Who knows, maybe it will come earlier unexpectedly for some.

Hello I received the despatch email from O2 on Thursday and received it on Friday days before launch, first time this has happened to me. I pre ordered on the date it went live on website.

So! Despite what 3 people from customer services said, I just got a text saying that the device will be delivered today! 🤣 Ah well, can't complain really!

I pre ordered in store 30th May and went to collect this morning phone was there but it wouldn't process through the tills so was told they had to raise a ticket with higher department and now awaiting a phone call to go and collect

Hi @Nath88,

 

On Tuesday we saw an issue impacting a small number of customers being unable to collect their device despite it being 'ready' in-store. We rolled out a fix later that day (approx. 4-5pm) to the impacted stores so from then, any customer that was previously impacted should be able to return to the store to collect their device.

 

Stores were sent a comms update so if you do return, they'll know how to process this for you now. I'm sorry for any confusion or frustration caused by this.
