I'm not sure if anyone else has been quite surprised by this, I have checked my bill today to find 29p was charged to my account. I had a look in more detail and it says I have been charged for sending a pic (MMS) message. I did speak with someone from O2 and they said that my unlimited txt allowance does not cover me sending MMS messages. It's not a problem because I usually use my Whatsapp. But does seem a cheek that O2 would charge me. I think big companies like O2 need to look at small things like this.

MMS are no longer included in allowances and are charged at 35p per message (29p+VAT).
You can check in My O2 for charges outside your allowance.
As you say, Whatsapp and email are the preferred way to send photos these days.

MMS haven't been included in your text allowance for a good while now, and are charged at £0.35 each.
