Hi

I just found out that it has cost me 30p to send a picture message to a mate.

Now I don't care about the money but surely it's data and therefore comes under my data plan?!

MMS should be stopped IMHO but they make money for the networks, so it's unlikely.
SMS are now mostly free as most tariffs come with unlimited anyway.
Data is the expensive part of contracts as that is what is used the most these days so demand is high for it....
