I paid my bill on Tuesday and my phone has still not been put back on

It can take up to a week or more for O2's systems to catch up when a phone has been disconnected for missed payments, @Tmac1 

 

Do consider setting up a Direct Debit to avoid this hassle in the future - it can be done in your MyO2.
