Hello,

I'm looking to upgrade my phone relatively soon and I was wondering if I should wait til around December if they might have some form of Christmas sales or is it usually the same.

Also If I should go through o2 or something like carphone warehouse. Are you able to reduce the upfront cost at all either or does that not happen?

For reference I've got a galaxy S6 and I'm looking at the iPhone 7 plus 128 gb.

Thanks in advance,

If you were to wait until december then the up front cost may have gone down slightly due to it not beinga brand new phone (no guarantees though as it is an iPhone).
There is also a delay in getting phones out due to the production/distribution from an Apple point of view so that is another reason to wait if you can.
For deals, you might get something if you went through retentions, but it would be worth shopping around to know how it compares at the time.
Remember though that if you want to upgrade early and you have gone through a 3rd party like CPW then you will need to pay the WHOLE plan off and not just the device, ie, you will miss out on the point of refresh.

You won't get any sales on iPhone prices at all and if you don't deal with o2 directly you can't have refresh.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)
