I have given my imei number to O2.double checked it,to make sure it's right.this morning received an email to say that my device is not being used on this network even though I'm still using it...please help

Firstly, it may already be unlocked. Need to try another sim. However this is the correct procedure with unlocking Guide: Unlocking an O2 phone to use a different SIM card

No I'm still under contract to O2 just don't understand why they say it's not being used on network...I have no other sim to try..just given 30 days notice to quit

How old is the phone and where did you buy it.
O2 have not been locking phone for about 2 years now
