Phone unlocked or not

How can I check if my Lumia 950 is unlocked other than going to O2 and asking them to unlock it which mmight be a waste of everyones time if it is already unlocked?

BTW Under Advanced info is shows SIM Unlock 1.0.0.5

Hi @okeydokey

The quickest way to check is by using a non O2 sim in the phone. If it works then it's unlocked.

If the Lumia was bought from O2 after July this year, it will have been sold as unlocked.
