How do I make sure all phone numbers and photos are saved to my sim and not on my phone. I have a new phone coming soon.

You can't save photos to your sim so you need to back up your phone completely so it can be restored to the new phone.
Let us know what phone you are going from and too and we can advise on how to backup.
