Phone sending messages by itself

Hello

Wondering if anyone can help me... the strangest thing happened the other day, my partner recieved three text messages from me in a row, none of which i sent.

The messages were 'Busy now, see you at lunch' and 'In a meeting, speak later' , one of which was repeated twice. Now upon looking this up online, these responses seem to be default reject call messages on the Iphone, but i don't have a iphone! i have a windows phone, and whats more my partner was asleep in bed and had'nt called me anyway!

Can anyone help me understand what might have happened please?

Certainly is a weird one and I can't think of anything that would cause that.
I don't suppose you have Tugo logged in anywhere else.

That would be a no then...TU is an app that allows you to use your allowances over wifi if you have little or no network signal.

Yeah if you're not aware of it you won't have it.
You need to set it up so can't be done unawares.

Hi there, I didn't and if anything strange things on my phone have continued to happen!

 

Thinking of restoring it to factory settings and see if that makes a difference.
